10 Ways to Use Wet Bags

We use our wet bags every single day for so many different things!  Our collection has grown over the years, and now I can’t imagine how we ever did without them! I often get people asking what wet bags are and how they work when I’m at a market. There are so many uses that I sometimes have a hard time explaining, but basically they are made with waterproof, washable fabric, they're designed to contain messes.

Here are 10 practical ways to use wet bags every day:

1. A Spot for Kitchen Laundry

Hang a wet bag over your oven handle to collect cloth napkins, reusable paper towels, or dishcloths. It keeps them in one place until laundry day.

2. Road Trip Garbage

Hook one over the back of a car seat and you've got a leak-proof trash bag. It's a road trip game changer (especially if you've got kids).  We have one for each row :)

3. Swim + Beach Companion

Wet bags were made for swimsuits and towels. Throw them in after your swim, zip the bag shut, and keep the rest of your stuff dry and sand-free.

4. Workout Clothes

Toss your gym clothes in a wet bag to keep them separate. When you get home, just dump it all in the wash.

5. Dirty Shoes

Going hiking, camping, or just stomping through muddy fields? Wet bags are perfect for keeping dirty shoes from making everything else filthy.

6. Extra Kid Clothes for School or Daycare

Pack an extra outfit (or two!) for your kid in a wet bag. If there's an accident, you’ve got an easy place to store the wet or dirty clothes.

7. Stroller Storage

Hang a wet bag over your stroller handle and you’ve got a handy spot for snacks, clothes, wipes, or small toys.

8. Carry-On Liquids Bag

Flying? Use a small wet bag to store your travel-size liquids or makeup.

9. Overnight Laundry Bag

Headed for a sleepover or weekend trip? Wet bags make a great lightweight laundry bag.

10. Activity Kit for Kids

Fill a wet bag with crayons, small toys, cards, or stickers and keep it in the car, your purse, or a backpack.
